After making 'Figures', a solo piece presented in Room Dances Festival 2014, Talia de Vries and Johann Nöhles continued their research on the manipulation of images and the conditions for their visibility. This year they present a duet piece, dealing with the emergence of images and their transformation in time.
The piece was created as part of the Research Studios Pilot#2 program of P.A.R.T.S.
Talia de Vries is an independent dance artist. She studied in CNDC d’Angers in France, and holds a BA in the Performing Arts from the University of Paris 8. Talia has worked with various choreographers in Israel and abroad. Nowadays she participates in the Research Studios Pilot#2 program in P.A.R.T.S for choreographers, where she continues to develop her work.
Johann Nöhles is a French dancer and visual artist. He studied at the National School for Circus Arts in Paris and at the CNDC in Angers. He worked with various choreographers such as Emmanuelle Huynh, Dominique Brun and Mylène Benoît. Since 2011 Johann creates digital images. Figures#2 is Johann's second collaboration with Talia de Vries.
