Personal Biology - Amos Hetz
Composition and dance: Amos Hetz
This solo is my reading of the graphic score of Metamorphosis. I translated the images to Eshkol-Wachman Movement Notation. A transformation from the intimate darkness, it was created as a performance by a moving body, which then disappears again into the observers’ memory in the hope that it will nourish their imagination.
Amos Hetz I am a dancer, dance composer and teacher, working in the light of the Eshkol- Wachman Movement Notation. I foster chamber dance which allows dancers to feel, experience and think. I have performed my works in various festivals in Israel and abroad. In 1999 I was awarded the Jerusalem Prize in dance and in 2013 the Mifal Hapais ‘Michael Landau Prize’ for lifetime achievement in dance.
